What began as a personal tool has grown into a trusted forecast app used by over 1.7 million photographers, hikers, and sky enthusiasts worldwide across 8 platforms. Alpenglow is independently developed by [Andrew Yates](https://ay8s.com/), a sole developer who combines a love of chasing sunsets with expertise in mobile development. Every feature is crafted with care, informed by real-world sunrise and sunset photography. ![Andrew Yates](https://alpenglowapp.com/images/avatar.jpeg) ### About the Developer Alpenglow is built in Marin, California by Andrew Yates. By day he's a Staff iOS Engineer at Buffer, building its Webby Award-winning iOS app. Evenings and weekends go to Alpenglow and its sibling app Starglow, for planning stargazing. Originally from Birmingham, UK, he's been shipping side projects since the early days of the App Store. [Visit ay8s.com](https://ay8s.com/) ## Any Questions?
