太阳从西方落下，与日出相对。在分点时正西落下，夏季偏西北，冬季偏西南。计算器可显示任意地点和日期的精确日落方向（方位角）。
不是。只有在两个分点（约3月20日和9月22日）才正东升起。其余时间日出点会向北或向南偏移，根据纬度可达30–40°。离赤道越远，偏移越大。
